Not every ambulance ride is a 911 emergency. Non-emergency medical transport exists for patients who can’t safely travel by car but aren’t in a crisis — and knowing what to expect makes the day far less stressful for everyone.
Before the Trip
Once your transport is scheduled, our dispatch team confirms the pickup time, address and any special needs — oxygen, a stretcher, or wheelchair assistance. We review the patient’s condition in advance so the right vehicle and crew arrive ready to help.
On Pickup Day
Our certified medics arrive on time and introduce themselves before anything else. They’ll check vitals, confirm the destination, and help the patient board safely and comfortably — never rushed.
- Trained medics handle all lifting and transfers
- Vitals are monitored throughout the ride
- Family can ride along when space allows
During Transport
Inside the unit, patients are secured and monitored the entire way. Our crews keep things calm and reassuring, watching for any change in condition and ready to respond immediately if needed.
Arrival & Hand-Off
At the destination, we assist the patient safely out of the vehicle and provide a complete hand-off to the receiving care team or family — so nothing is missed in the transition.
